The Nimbus Nut is back and this might be his best offering yet – a ’52 Nimbus complete with a sidecar, recently imported from Denmark!
Nimbus introduced their Type C in 1932, and the 746cc inline four engine was capable of about 20 horsepower, good enough to get the 408 pound (dry) bike up to approximately 70 miles per hour. Especially for the time of production, the Nimbus is legendarily reliable. This example was restored “with almost all NOS parts” and it’s been broken in. The seller estimates that there are approximately 225 Nimbusses (Nimbi?) in the US, and he’s personally been involved with 14 of them. In his words, “it IS the highest quality restoration I have seen available anywhere!”
