Post Sale Update: This CB750 sold for $8,301 after 34 bids on eBay.

Approximately 63,500 examples of the K2 generation of Honda’s CB750 were built, and thanks to a new set of OEM bodywork this looks better preserved than most. For more on the legendary CB, check out this buying guide from Silodrome.

This example (VIN: CB750-2034812) has just 3,922 miles. Per the seller, the original owner rode it for a few years and then put it in storage. The sale includes the original bill of sale, toolkit, and owner’s manual. In the past the bike had been repainted but once the seller acquired this example he installed new bodywork – as well as a new gas cap, petcock, grips, foot pegs, emblems, and carb boots. The seller claims that he has owned over 50 CB750s and he notes that while this has been recently serviced it will need new tires.
