As Honda’s scramblers got bigger, they became more street focused. Cycle magazine called the CL350 not “really a scrambler at all, but a street-scrambler…doubt arises regarding the bike’s suitability for bashing around rocks and pines.” Sounds awfully similar to today’s current crop of scramblers, if you ask me.
Just like the scramblers of today though, this old Honda looks cool. It featured a 324cc, 33 horsepower engine that was good for a claimed top speed of 100 miles per hour. For more on the CL350, check out this article on Motorcycle Classics.
This CL350 has been “semi-restored” with a NOS gas tank and a recent top end rebuild. The odometer shows 17,526 miles and everything is claimed to work. It’s just a nice rider at a reasonable price.
