Available only between 1971-1974, the Benelli 175 Enduro was a well-built dual-sport with plenty of chrome.
This Benelli has a 2.5 gallon tank and a 4-speed transmission and a right side shifter. Other components include a 22mm Dell’Orto carb, Marzocchi forks and shocks, and a Marzocchi throttle. From a period review by Modern Cycle,
“The Benelli seems to be at its best in the choppy stuff where a combination of the long travel suspension, short wheelbase, and smooth power flow makes the bike behave nicely. The forks could use a little more cross up. We took it on some tight mountain trails and found it difficult in the turns although it didn’t have any problems from lack of power.”
This specific Benelli 175 Enduro is claimed to be a very nice example, though the rims have a little corrosion. The bike runs well, the lights work, and it’s available for less than 2 grand.
