Post-Sale Update: After 21 bids on eBay, this Ducati 750GT sold for $27,200.
The Ducati 750GT was the first of Ducati’s venerable V-twins, and its lovely lines set the stage for classics like the 750 Sport and 900SS.
The 748cc twin produced 60 horsepower, which was good enough to push the 407 pound (dry) bike up to 125 miles per hour. Original MSRP was $1,995. Want to learn more? Check out a lengthy write-up here on Motorcycle Classics about what makes the 750GT special.
This specific Ducati 750GT (VIN: 75545X) has been cosmetically restored to “like new” and has just 5,388 miles. It’s quite original and even retains the lead seal on the engine from when it left the factory. The only non original parts are rubber wear items like the kick start rubber and foot rests, the seat cover, and the plastic dash. There is also a tiny dent on the right side exhaust. I always appreciate a seller who takes the time to go into detail and take good photos, so head over to the listing to enjoy.
