The Triumph Bonneville Silver Jubilee was a limited edition of the Bonneville. Only made for the 1977 year, 1,000 models were released in the United States to commemorate…the Silver Jubilee (25th anniversary) of Elizabeth’s rise to Queen, even though Triumph had nothing to do with it. How quaint.
Unfortunately, these bikes suffer from the quality control issues that plagued most British bikes of the time. This particular limited edition was based on the top of the line Bonneville of the time, with the 750cc dual-carbed engine. You’ll also get a 5 speed left side transmission, as well as front and rear disc brakes.
This specific Triumph Bonneville Silver Jubilee has 4,437 miles and is still on the original tires. It will need a little bit of minor work – the carbs, brakes, and fork seals. But you’ll struggle to find a rarer Bonneville.
Find this Triumph Bonneville Silver Jubilee for sale here on Craigslist for $5,500 in Indiana.
