$2,000 – 1990 Honda VFR750F

In Japan, Sport by Abhi2 Comments

Here’s a solid example of a classic sport-tourer – this was the first year that the VFR got a single-sided swingarm, and it was the only year you could get this red/white paint scheme.

You got 98.5 horsepower and 53.9 pound-feet of torque to move 538 pounds (wet weight) of bike. This example is being offered by the third owner, who spent 34 hours driving from Iowa to New Jersey and back to acquire this in 2009. The bike has 42,650 miles and it comes with service records going back to 1991. Last summer the seller did a 2,000 mile trip – hopefully you can continue that trend. The seller correctly notes that the wiring harness can be a weak point on these bikes, so he’s already replaced it with a VRFness.

Find this VFR for sale here on Craigslist in Pocatello, Idaho for $2,000.
