$2,800 – 1993 Suzuki GSX1100G

In Japan, Less than 5k, Standard by Abhi3 Comments

There’s a reason the model name of this Suzuki was one letter off from the supersport GSX-R 1100 – this standard had the same engine, albeit modded for better comfort with the addition of a counterbalancer and elastic mounts and retuned for more low and mid range power with new camshafts.

Though it lost about 10% of the horsepower (down to 98), this bike could still hit 140 if you were brave. You got a 5-speed transmission and the shaft drive from Suzuki’s Cavalcade tourer. This bike struggled in the market because it didn’t really speak to a specific consumer. Sport riders went with the Gixxer, tourers went with the Cavalcade (or realistically, Honda’s Gold Wing). Still, this bike could be ordered with bags, a windscreen, and optional fairing from Suzuki. For more on this bike, an updated UJM in a time of market specialization, check out this Retrospective from Rider magazine.

This GSX1100G is claimed to be mint with just 16,745 miles on it. It’s recently received a carb service and new handlebars. While the pipes have Yoshimura badges on them, the exhaust itself is stock. Find this Zook for sale here on ADVRider (registration required) in Brentwood, Tennessee for $2,800.
