In the 50s and 60s, CZ was at the top of its game. After World War II, it was the second largest manufacturer of motorcycles in Europe, plus it was dominating motocross competition worldwide.
While CZ is probably best known for their off-road bikes, they made a few road models like this 175 Sport. This example was last licensed in 1977 but it’s complete and running with just 1,150 miles on it. It still has the original tires – though they’re obviously no longer roadworthy. Quirky feature – the kick starter rotated and then pushed in to become the shifter.
Find this CZ for sale here on Craigslist in Hillsboro, Oregon for $950.
