When you think of a bike to build an adventure-tourer on, I assume that the Suzuki GS500E isn’t the first bike you think of. Or the 45th bike you think of, for that matter. But the builder of this bike didn’t let that stop him from creating an interesting take on the mid-size dual sport segment.
The seller bought the bike from the builder, who performed several modifications. Highlights of said modifications include a SV650 front end (1″ taller), Shinko tires, Katana rear shock (1″ taller) and rear wheel (1″ wider), the fuel tank from a GS500F (0.8 gallons larger), Trackside bars and handguards, Acerbis fender, FZ1000 rear fender, and a Ducati Monster 620 seat on a custom subframe. In addition, there’s a custom rack/bag mount system so you lug all the gear you’d need for a camping trip.
