A couple of weeks ago, I featured a seller that was selling off a collection of over 40 bikes. The prices were quite high so barely anything has sold, but I have to make special mention of this Moto Guzzi because I’m a huge sucker for dustbin fairings.
The bike (VIN: LFB423) was apparently raced in 1956 and 1957 and has been restored at some point in time. The seller is unfortunately quite light on details so it’s unclear if the bike is currently a runner but either way, it’s lovely…and tiny. Look at it compared to a modern Ducati:
Note that in the 2011 Mecum Monterey auction, this bike sold for $7,000. Now, the seller (in Addison, Texas) wants $11,980 or best offer
