In 2004, Ford and Harley-Davidson partnered up to introduce the F-150 Harley-Davidson edition:
Harley returned the favor in much smaller numbers. They apparently built just 3 bikes to tie into the Ford promotion, and auctioned them at motorcycle rallies in Daytona, Laconia, and Sturgis. I couldn’t find independent verification of this online, but the seller says he’s got documentation which I’d be interested in seeing. This specific Fat Boy is the first of the 3, and comes with the Certificate of Origin. The seller says the other two bikes have been registered and have plenty of miles. This bike has just 20 miles on the odometer.
Harley has obviously released a bunch of limited editions, but as 1 of 3, this has got to be one of the rarest. It’s being offered by the second owner who also has other promotional items like a remote control Ford truck in the matching paint scheme.
