God Save The Queen – 1977 Triumph Bonneville Silver Jubilee

In England, Standard by Abhi1 Comment

For some reason, Triumph decided to honor the 25th Anniversary (Silver Jubilee) of Queen Elizabeth’s reign with a limited release of the Bonneville. They sold 1,000 examples each in the US and UK and another 400 for the Commonwealth of mostly former British colonies.

Triumph Bonneville Silver Jubilee - Front and Rear

This particular limited edition was based on the top of the line Bonneville of the time, with the 750cc dual-carbed engine. You’ll also get a 5 speed left side transmission, as well as front and rear disc brakes. This example has just 1,635 miles and it’s claimed to run good and start easy. It has new tires and a new battery, now it just needs a new owner. I do not believe the handlebars are original, but they do look better than the stockers. Find this Silver Jubilee for sale in Weedville, Pennsylvania for $6,000 here on ADVRider (registration required).

Or, if you live in Virginia and want to spend more for a different Silver Jubilee that needs tires, check out this example (VIN: T140vxp80170j) in Manassas, Virginia with an unmet opening bid of $7,000
