I sometimes wonder if I’m best serving you by showing you incredible bikes with giant pricetags, or more mundane bikes that are great buys. I still don’t know what the correct answer is, so for now you’re stuck getting a little bit of both. Here’s one of the latter – a Suzuki V-Strom 650 with matching DMC M72D Sidecar. The Suzuki V-Strom 650 (otherwise known as the Wee-Strom vs. the bigger V-Strom 1000) is a reasonably priced dual-sport. This package is even more reasonably priced, thanks to the addition of a quality DMC hack!
The sidecar is a base M72D model with upgrades including color-matched paint, Rotopax fuel containers, independent disc brake, carpeting, luggage rack, and a power outlet.
The bike also got some upgrades, including Ohlins rear shock and front springs, fork brace, 14T front sprocket (-1), Sargent seat, Hepco & Becker racks with hard cases, and plenty more. This is a great rig with just 3,576 miles on it – compare the asking price to a new V-Strom 650 of $10,049…without the sidecar rig!
