I’m not going to lie – part of the reason I’m featuring this bike because it has one of the greatest vehicle names ever. With that said, this Japanese-American joint venture produced a series of very popular bikes during the 60s and 70s, with fantastic names like the Combat Wombat shown here, as well as the Dirt Squirt and Road Toad.
The owner took her time to document the bike with several photos and record a video with a walkaround and a quick demonstration of her starting it and putting around the neighborhood:
The seller claims that this bike is fully functional and has lot sof new parts, including the tires, some cables, controls, shocks – and several other parts that have been completely rebuilt.
There’s no rust in the tank, and if the video is to be taken at face value, this bike fires right up with the kickstart. This would be a fun basic vintage MX bike for someone who’s presumably starting a little bit of a collection…
Find it here on Craigslist for $1,500 in Garfield, New Jersey. An album with more pictures can be found here on the seller’s Photobucket album.
