A seller in Hollywood, Florida has 5 different examples of Honda’s iconic Z50 line.
From old to new:
1. 1969 Honda Z50A Military Tribute – the seller got this three years ago. It’s said to run as it should and it comes with a military helmet. Bidding is currently up to $730 with the reserve not yet met or a BIN of $1,800
2. 1973 Honda Z50 – This bike was restored in 2012 and it looks great. Mileage is unknown as there is no speedometer/odometer. Bidding is currently up to $510 and the reserve not yet met or a BIN of $4,000
3. 1986 Honda Z50RD Christmas Special – considered by some as the ultimate Honda Z50, the “Christmas Special” was a limited edition – you can probably guess what time of year it was released. Honda gave two examples to each of their top dealers, though they typically called it the “Chrome Edition” seeing as nearly every part on the bike (even the frame!) was chromed. This example has “never been worked on” and unfortunately it has a ding in the tank. Bidding is up to $2,230 with the reserve not yet met or a BIN of $4,000
4. 1986 Honda Z50R – this (VIN: AB0200GS706600) is an original survivor so it’s got a few scratches and dings in the tank. It has a 3 speed semi-automatic transmission and the seller says it starts, shifts, and runs like it should. Bidding is up to $910 and the reserve not yet met or a BIN of $2,000
5. 1995 Honda Z50R – this bike (VIN: JH2AB0209SK402738) is said to “brand new” and never been serviced. The sale will include the Certificate of Origin. Bidding is up to $1,251 and the reserve not yet met or a BIN of $2,000
