Post-Listing Update: New Blue was relisted but still got no action at the opening bid of $74,999.

Almost a decade ago, legendary Ducati tuners NCR created a race bike based on the Paul Smart and called it New Blue – it shaved off 20% of the weight while gaining approximately 40% more power, and was full of trick components. Get ready to open that wallet!

NCR New Blue - Cockpit

Public response to New Blue (an homage to Old Blue) was positive, so NCR homologated it with 50 examples. The bike in front of you is #12. Weigh came down from 414 to 330 pounds, and power was bumped up to 116 horses. For more on this impressive bike, check out NCR’s site or enjoy this brief video from MCN:

NCR New Blue - Tail

This example does not have a title (it’s either going to be stuck in a museum/collection or by some miracle get track time assuming it even sells at this crazy price) but the tail has been signed by none other than Neilson and Schilling of Old Blue fame. The sale includes the belly pan which is not pictured. Find this incredible Ducati for sale in Boyne City, Michigan with an unmet opening bid of $74,999
