Honda’s 919 was an excellent all-arounder that was offered at a reasonable price. It was comfortable enough to ride all day but could still keep up with your canyon carving sport bike friends when necessary.
Basic specifications include 99 horsepower and 63 pound-feet of torque. The press considered it to be a good enough bike, though it usually lost out to the Yamaha FZ-1 in comparisons because the Yamaha had more power and fully adjustable suspension. For more information on the 919, check out this road test on Sport Rider – they say “if all your riding consists of twisted pavement then this Hooligan is The Bike.”
This example stands out as it’s rocking new OEM green bodywork – the seller recently dropped the bike and dented the previous tank. It has a Two Brothers carbon exhaust – the left muffler is actually a lockable fake can. Other good upgrades include Racetech fork springs, EBC rotors, and powdercoated wheels. The bike has 19,000 miles. Find this 919 for sale here on ADVRider (registration required) for $3,400 in Birmingham, Alabama.
