I have very fond memories of my Honda NX650, which means I got excited when Zack B sent over this cheap-as-chips baby NX – a NX125 for about $10/cc.

The combination of XR-roots with a slightly more street friendly composition made it an excellent all-rounder. Offered in the states in 125, 250, and 650cc versions, the NX650 was by far the most popular in the US. Marketed in Europe as the Trans-City, this bike was designed more to be a runabout that you could take off pavement when needed. This bike would struggle to get about 60mph, so realistically you’re looking at a city/fire-road bike. But if that’s what you’re looking for, the NX125 is not a bad option.

This example has 5,400 miles and is said to be in excellent condition. It recently got some new parts, a carb cleaning, and a general tune up. Everything is said to work and it has a luggage rack. It’s in nice shape and you can’t argue with the price, so find this baby NX for sale here on Craigslist near Oregon, Illinois for $1,275.

This bike-uriousity brought to you by Zack B!
