Winner of Planet Minis’ 2014 Classic Mini of the Year, this is one of the best Z50 builds I’ve ever seen. In the seller’s words, this bike “will eat a Grom for breakfast and laugh at its sillyness.” It could be argued that a bright yellow mini bike isn’t very far on the “sillyness” scale, but this bike is nothing to laugh at. It’s named Project Woodstock, which explains the yellow paint and the logo of the iconic Peanuts character on the tank.
The standout features of this bike have supplied by Takegawa – their 125cc Superhead +R engine, Special clutch, and Hyper CDI. Other goodies include a Yoshimura exhaust, Heidenau tires on 8″ aluminum wheels, and the steering damper from a Suzuki Hayabusa. The builder also handmade lots of parts from aluminum: the brake caliper mounts, oil cooler bracket, front fender bracket, and oil catch can bracket, among others.
It’s street legal and registered in California, so what are you waiting for? Find Project Woodstock for sale in Vacaville, California for $5,000 here on Craigslist.
