One of the founders of Evo Magazine, Harry Metcalfe now runs a YouTube channel simply called “Harry’s Garage” in which he walks you through special vehicles, many of which he owns himself. Like any good petrolhead, he’s got a soft spot for motorcycles in addition to cars, and in this 23-minute long video he shares his collection of 6 bikes that were the production versions of early Paris-Dakar winners.
What makes this video special is that Harry doesn’t just parade a few wheels in front of you, he also explains the history of each bike with regards to the race. In the video description, Harry notes that he “put this collection together after searching right across Europe for perfect examples over the past 2 years. Total cost of the collection was £25,000. Most expensive was the BMW R80 G/S P-D at £10,000+, while the cheapest was the Super Tenere at £1500.”
