Post Sale Update: This R69S sold for $17,500 after 42 bids on eBay.
In the long, proud history of BMW, the R69S is one of the most iconic motorcycles ever built by the German manufacturer. In 1962, Cycle World said “it is still the smoothest, best finished, quietest and cleanest motorcycle it has ever been our pleasure to ride.”
Because of that, these bikes do not come cheap nowadays, but my hope is that you’ll find this example to be wortdh the money due to its originality and how well-optioned it is – plus it’s the 27th R69S ever built. The original title is included with the sale, as is other paperwork showing things like the original owner’s monthly payment of $49.60. The bike is equipped with some great accessories, like Euro bars, 6.5 gallon Schorsch Meier sport tank, solo seat, Albert mirrors, rear rack, bar-end turn signals, and more.
I love this motorcycle, and I’m hoping it finds an owner that keeps the original condition going. Find this R69S for sale in Brooklyn, New York with bidding up to $12,100 and the reserve not yet met
