It’s not the most PC of terms, but this bike is known as the “Triple Cripple” – named after the fact that it’s a Gixxer 600 that’s been converted into a 450cc triple!

There are different ways to disable a cylinder – this bike received a method that basically entails having the corresponding cam lob ground down. Click here for more information if you want to learn more. This is a relatively simple way of competing in the 450 Superbike classes and is apparently competitive with SV650s or built 400s. This example produces 76 horsepower and 34 pound-feet of torque after losing cylinder #3. Last year this bike won Novice 450 Superbike and Novice Legacy Light championships. Track goodies include a Motion Pro Revolver throttle, Goodrich front braided brake lines, PCIII, and more.
