You’re probably all quite familiar with the Honda CB350 – which was actually the world’s best selling motorcycle in just its first year of production. But here’s a special bike for classic Honda fans – one of the ten pre-production prototypes.
Apparently the ten prototypes were numbered 1000001-1000010 (surprise). This bike is VIN: CB350 – 1000008. It is claimed to never have been ridden or started and has just 2.6 miles from rolling around between locations. It is 100% original and is claimed to have been rescued from the crusher by a Honda employee. It was then used for electrical testing at Honda’s Service Training School, and then spent time in the private collection of the employee who saved it. It then went to a museum that is offering the bike up after 8 years of display.
