The new Thruxtons are in (and by all accounts, they’re a huge improvement over the last generation), which means that the previous Thruxtons are now available with a significant discount. Case in point – the last time I featured a limited production Ace Edition version, it sold for $10,100 after 27 bids on eBay. This one’s got an asking price of $8,400, and it’s got the same amount of 1-out-of-325 exclusivity.
In 2016, Triumph threw some paint on 325 Thruxtons in the US and called them the “Ace Editions”, after the Ace Cafe in London, one of the world’s most popular biker hangouts. It cost $700 extra on top of the MSRP of the Thruxton, but the only changes were cosmetic – paint and some stickers.

This example has just 980 miles and is claimed to be like new. At 680 miles it had a minor service and a full detail. Verify it’s had the break-in service, then you can buy this Thruxton for $8,400 here on Craigslist in West Hollywood, California.
