Built by Ron Wood Racing to compete in Formula Singles, the SJ676 featured a 676cc Rotax engine that put down 71.8 horsepower at the rear wheel!
It’s an oil in frame bike but the frame is also designed to function as a radiator. It was featured in Cycle Magazine as “The World’s Fastest Single” – for more information check out this brief profile from Silodrome back when another example went up for sale at the 2012 Pebble Beach Auction.
This specific bike (VIN: 186355) has an Axtell head, as well as the wheels, forks, and brakes from a Yamaha FZR400. Other goodies include Ron Wood triple clamps, a Fox shock, an upgraded oil cooler, and more. The seller notes that it’s numbers matching and runs excellent, but you’ll need to replace the dried tires before you take it out on a track.
