In 2011, Hesketh motorcycles was acquired by Paul Sleeman, who tried to make the on-again, off-again brand relevant. He’s actually had a bit of success, as they’ve released and announced a few new models, most notably the 24. But this listing is all about the V1000 that started it all. In 2015, Hesketh announced that they were creating a final run of the V1000. Just 5 were built out of New Old Stock and each had a unique feature. This example was specifically color-matched to the new owner’s McLaren MP4! Now it’s up for sale in England, ready for a new owner.

“So I went home and got on the internet and tried to find out where I could buy one. I found out that they were horribly expensive and then I saw an advert with Mick Broome, so I contacted him and said ‘have you got a bike for sale’, he said ‘yeah come and see me’ so I went to Northampton the next day. He told me about his ambitions which was simply to retire, close Hesketh down and call it a day. We reached an agreement so I bought a bike and I bought the company in the same day, as you do!”
This example has 150 miles and it’s said to be in excellent shape. It’s being sold by the original owner. Find this Hesketh for sale in Salisbury, England for approximately $35,100 here on AutoTrader through Moto Corsa.
