1 Owner – 1997 Suzuki RF900R

With an engine derived from the GSX-R1100, the Suzuki RF900R was designed as a entry-level bike in the sport-touring market, undercutting the competition by about $1,500. Despite the pricing, you still got a solid sport-tourer with odd styling that Suzuki claimed was “inspired a stingray.” Sales weren’t great.

The 937cc engine was very reliable and put down 125 horsepower. For more on the RF900R, check out this review from Motorcycle News.

This example is offered by the original owner, and it has just 8,897 miles. Upgrades include a full Yoshimura 4-1 exhaust with carbon fiber can, stainless steel brake lines, and a tank bra. Recent maintenance includes a rebuild of the carbs, tank, and fuel switch. It needs some cosmetic work – it’s been “tipped over” which has scuffed the plastics and it “has a few scuffs and scrapes from the kids climbing on it but nothing major.”
