Also known as the Big Red Pig, Honda’s XR650R is a legend in desert racing and the Baja 1000. Even though it was killed off in 2008, the bike is still race competitive and it enjoys quite a cult following. Here’s one that stands out as it’s California-plated and also has a street setup (as pictured).

Dry weight was 280 pounds and the stock engine put out 43 horsepower. But if you yanked off the emissions crap and rejetted the carb, you could see closer to 55 ponies.

This example is offered by the original owner who had it street registered from new. Upgrades include a Baja Design lighting kit, LED rear lighting, heated grips, Stage 1 Hot Cam, rebuilt suspension, RSW top triple clamp, Cycra handguards, IMS footpegs, upgraded skid plate, etc. For street work it’s got Avon RoadRider tires, a 4.2 gallon Clarke tank, Seat Concepts seat, rear fender tool bag and small saddlebags. It also comes with extra wheels/rotors for dirt duty. Plus, it’s been uncorked!
