One seller in Colorado is getting rid of 3 impressive Ducatis – I figured I’d just share them in one post so you can get all your drooling out at once!
1.) 1974 Ducati 750 “Sport Special”, originally a 750GT – $40,000.
This was the seller’s idea of what the factory might have created at the time (ignoring the front brakes from a Ducati 996). It’s a multiple Best-In-Show winner and has been featured on several websites. After having been built, this bike has only seen about 100 miles of use. Amusingly, there’s a fly painted into the sight glass as a tribute to the California Hotrod, which had an actual fly cast into the tank:
2.) 1965 Ducati 250 Narrowcase Road Racer – $14,000.
Originally built to be a racer, the seller decided it was too pretty and I guess it’s just been in display after the build. Originally a 250 Scrambler, it’s had plenty of mechanical work including a 12.5:1 Arias piston, Megacycle cam, 36mm Dell’Orto carb…the list goes on. It’s never been started – heck, it’s never seen oil or gasoline.
3.) 1973 Ducati 750GT – ~$24,000.
This is the seller’s ‘vintage rider’ and it has 26,000 miles on the odometer. Not for sale just yet, it’s having some work done and will be ready in 2 months.
