Yes, Bridgestone is known as a tire company, but for a couple of decades they made some class-leading motorcycles. One of their very rare models is the Bridgestone 100 TMX, a tiny trail bike that featured some quality tech.
Said technology included rotary valves, tubular frames, oil injection, and twin rear wheel sprockets. Surprisingly, it even came with the rear rack as a standard feature. The engine was good for 10.5 horsepower – translating to about 100hp/liter!
This specific Bridgestone 100 TMX is in a delightfully 70s shade of gold. it’s been with the seller for over 10 years and it’s claimed to run great. Nearly everything is original, though it does have a new back tire. Cosmetic flaws include a damaged headlight ear and some chrome pitting.
Find this Bridgestone 100 TMX for sale here on Craigslist near Madison, Wisconsin for just $1,000.
