Occasional contributor and commenter Walter B needs to make room in his garage for a new bike, so he’s letting go of a 2006 KTM 950SM and a 2007 950SE.
First, the Super Moto. He’s the original owner and there’s a build thread on ADVRider if you want to get more details. Before Walter acquired the SE, he took this out on some dirt. It has a healthy 64,000 miles – both bikes together have done 108k! Highlights of this build include a Superplush suspension, extra rims, new clutch, new tires, front fender from a Superduke, Hyde Racing windscreen, and all paperwork plus the KTM soft briefcase.
Then the Super Enduro. He’s the second owner and it now has 45,000 miles. It features a lowered suspension rebuilt by Superplush, Emig steering damper, tail rack, BDCW skid plate, Zip-Typ footpeg extensions, rebuilt clutch slave cylinder and a Hyde racing windscreen. It has a few spare parts and it comes with all the manuals and the KTM soft briefcase.
As Walter puts it, now you can get both bikes for the price of a pristine 950SE (which is true, based on what I’ve featured on this site in the past). It’s the best of both worlds! As you’d expect with the mileage, these aren’t cosmetically perfect. But they’re both well-loved from a seller I trust, and the price is hard to argue with. Both bikes come with KTM luggage racks and soft luggage options, as well as upgraded water pumps and fuel pump kits. Find this well-loved package for sale here on ADVRider (registration required) for $9,500 or best offer.
