Per the seller, “we started in 2005 with a 1937 Ford V8 60 tin side, a 1937 Ford stock three speed and a dream!”
The builders of this call it the “Beast”, this custom features a tremendous amount of Ford parts – 1935 16″ wire wheels, 1937 I-Beam springer front fork, 1937 drum brakes, clutch and brake pedals, and more. The tank is built with a combination of Harley-Davidson tanks and 1938 Ford pickup hoods, and the fenders are from a 1936 Ford spare tire cover. It won the “Best Creative Custom” aware at Willie’s Tropical Tattoo Bike Show in Daytona Beach in 2010.
The seller says that he’s ridden it about 500 miles and that it currently “tends to overheat. I think the exhaust system is to close to the oil pan and should be rerouted or reinsulated (what I had on it and worked, didn’t last).”
