Built by Rick Krost of U.S. Choppers, this custom Harley is inspired by board trackers from the early 1900s. According to this article from Motorcycle Classics, the shape of Krost’s frame was inspired by the Ichthys (the fish used as a Christian symbol, sometimes called the Jesus fish). This example uses a Harley Panhead engine and was featured on the cover of Iron Works in March of 2012.
Highlights of this build (VIN: 54fl3491) include hill climbing forks, the rebuilt and warmed over ’54 Panhead engine, foot clutch with jockey shift, 1930 Harley floorboards, and the tank that was cut out to make room for the cylinders.
