1-10-2015 Update: This beauty is back up for sale with bidding up to $1,750 and the reserve not yet met
Post-Listing Update: This Gilera 150 Sport got up to $3,650 but did not meet reserve.
One of the prettiest bikes I’ve ever seen, the Gilera 150 Sport was a tiny Italian from back in the days when Italy excelled at making small-displacement motorcycles. Here’s your chance to acquire a lovely example that has no evidence of a partnership with Sears.
The simple overhead valve 150cc engine was paired with a dry clutch and a mediocre transmission, but I’m tempted to say ‘who cares?’ For a tiny bit more information on this absolutely gorgeous little bike, check out this writeup from Silodrome.
This specific Gilera 150 Sport borders on perfection in my eyes – it’s original except for the tires and it’s got a lovely amount of wear. It’s been recently serviced and is ready to ride on the street or compete in a Moto Giro.
