Post Sale Update: This Superfox sold for $6,000 after 22 bids on eBay.

When this bike was produced, NSU was the world’s largest motorcycle producer – but the Superfox was one of their rarer models, with just 4,130 ever built. Here’s one of the few examples that made it over to the US, and it looks good! The Superfox featured a 123cc 4-stroke single cylinder engine that produced 8.8 horsepower. It weighed 290 pounds and could nearly hit 60 miles per hour.

This example has plenty of new parts including the tires, chain, exhaust, locks, tool box, and more. The engine has been rebuilt and the VDO speedo has been recondition. Note the “Welt Meister 1953 1954 1955” gas cap? That was to commemorate NSU’s multiple World Championships in GP racing. This bike looks fantastic with the exception of a small dent in the right fork leg.
