Capriolo started producing motorcycles in 1948 in a small town in Northern Italy. They lasted until 1964, at which point Laverda bought them up. Though the company is not well known anymore, this TV 75cc was a high-quality runabout powered by a four-stroke, overhead cam engine with a high compression ratio with Aprilia electrics to round things up.
Interesting side note: Cosmopolitan Motors of Philadelphia (importer of many fine small Italian bikes) bought the tooling and remaining stock, and the owner of the dealership still has the rights to the Capriolo name.
This example (VIN: 32435) has less than 2 miles on it and it has sat in the back of a shop for decades. The top end has not been pulled off but the seller says the odometer works, and there’s no wear on the seat or rubber pieces. The seller suggests it has never been started or likely used. Weirdly, I’ve featured another one of these with just 2 miles in the past, from the same seller. I wonder why he/she has several of them, but either way, I much prefer this paint scheme to the red one of the other bike:
