I’ve somehow stumbled upon 3 of these beauties in the last couple of weeks, which means…you’re subjected to your third one in the same time frame! I just can’t help myself, because these little Gileras are gorgeous (and I’m somewhat obsessed with pedestrian slicers at the moment).
Here’s where I have to confess that I’ve never heard of the “Super Sport” version of this bike, which this seller claims this is. Can someone help me out? For a tiny bit more information on the 150 Sport, check out this writeup from Silodrome.
This specific Gilera 150 “Super” Sport is original except for the battery and tires, though the tank has been repainted. It was restored by an “Italian bike expert” in 2013, and now it is ready to go except for a brake adjustment. I will never understand why sellers don’t take care of things like this before offering the bike up for sale. It should be noted that this bike won an Award of Merit at the 2013 Dania Beach Vintage Bike Show.
