The last generation of the BSA Gold Star, the DBD34 was built from ’56 to ’63. This example has some hard to find extras thanks to its time under the ownership of BSA factory rider and AMA Hall of Famer Chuck “Feets” Minert.

BSA Gold Star - Gauges

The DBD34 featured a 499cc air-cooled single that produced 40 horsepower and had a top speed of 110 miles per hour. Older models like this one had a tall first gear, which allowed you to hit 60 miles per hour even before you had to shift to second. Dry weight was 380 pounds, and the bike was very successful in TT racing in its day. BSA Gold Star - Rear

This specific BSA Gold Star (VIN: CB329085) was Chuck’s personal bike, so it accumulated 41,478 miles while avoiding being raced…probably. It comes with some rare extras including Koni shocks, a throttle speed control, Alfin hub, and Lyta 5-gallon fuel tank, among others.
