Post-Sale Update: Bidding did not meet reserve at $4,806, but the bike was relisted and then sold at a BIN of $5,200 on eBay.
In 1954, Moto Morini introduced a series of bikes that were all named after Italian card games – Settebello (7 of Diamonds), Biscola (Trumps), and in 1958 – the Tresette (Three Sevens), which was available in a sporting Sprint model or as the base model presented here.
Equipped with a 175cc OHV 4 stroke paired with a 4 speed transmission, this bike has brand new wheels, exhaust, seat, chain, and battery. The seller notes that he once removed the speedo to repair it and ended up losing it in the process. So the bike comes with a new speedo and his estimate that the bike had about 9,400 miles when the speedo was lost. It’s otherwise a ‘very complete and correct bike in good running and working condition.’
