Yes, that’s right – a 90/2! The seller started with a R60/2 and then swapped in the motor, transmission, and final drive from a ’74 R90/6. There’s plenty of modifications that we’ll look at in a moment, but what’s mot interesting to me is that “all chrome has been powdercoated red to make [the] bike appear as massive as possible.”
The seller says it runs “excellent’ and that it has plenty of conversions for touring purposes. The motor has a top end rebuilt and the electrical system has been converted to 12V. It has dual disc brakes up front from a Honda Goldwing, Dunstall mufflers, new Mikuni carbs, dual headlights (with the speedo in one bucket and the tach in the other), Craven rear rack and saddlebags, and of course, the large Heinrich gas tank. The seller suggests that it would make a great sidecar bike. I just hope the buyer likes the color red!
