The Van Tech Scrambler was Van Tech’s first bike. Using a McCulloch kart engine (evolved from a chainsaw engine), it was designed to be a tiny race bike.
It has a 125cc engine – McCulloch eventually adapted the chainsaw engine into kart and motorcycle units. Every Van Tech frame was had-crafted and jig-built, and they were known for being exceptionally well-built during the time period.
This specific Van Tech Scrambler is from the first year of Van Tech production. This bike has been completely restored and looks like it’d be a blast in slow-speed dirt with that giant rear sprocket and leading-link fork.
