1965 Honda CB160 Racer

In Japan, Race, Small Displacement by AbhiLeave a Comment

A couple of years ago I attended my first Vintage GP. I went there specifically to check out some sidecars, but there were a lot of great classes. One of my favorites was the CB160 race, because it begins with a Le Mans start. I hope the next owner of this bike will participate in similar events.

The Le Mans start I witnessed:

This bike has been recently refreshed and it sounds like it’s ready to be ridden in anger again. The motor was built by Vicious Cycle of Portland, Oregon, who replaced all the gaskets and seals in the process.

Other racing goodies including a steel Honda race tank, 22mm Keihin carbs, Scitsu tachometer, a new Barnett clutch, and Webco “racing springs” – it’s unclear if they’re on Webco shocks or the stock shock bodies.

Find this little CB for sale in Orlando, Florida for $5,700 here on Craigslist.
