Post Sale Update: This unique combination sold for $6,600.
The fine folks at Bring a Trailer (appropriately named in this case) have got one of the coolest bike/trailer packages I’ve seen in a while. A ’63 Honda Scrambler (’63 VIN but titled as a ’65) that was given a refresh 50 miles ago. It looks clean and normally it’d be interesting enough for a feature. But it’s overshadowed here by a “belly tank” trailer from a LTV A-7 Corsair II. Badass.
The refresh included a disassembly of the motor and transmission, new brakes, rebuilt carbs, powdercoated frame, and repaint of the bodywork. The trailer is street legal and is claimed to track straight after 100 miles of usage. Per usual with Bring a Trailer, there’s lot of great photos – but I wish there was a photo showing the tail open and how easy (or difficult) the bike loading process is.
