Post-Sale Update: After 14 bids on eBay, this Parilla Wildcat 125 sold for $2,150.
Founded in 1946 by Giovanni Parilla, Parilla was a manufacturer of many bikes that have now become cult classics. One of those is the Parilla Wildcat 125, a single-cylinder scrambler that cost much more than the competition – though many riders would agree that it was worth the premium. As stated on some of Parilla’s marketing from Cosmopolitan Motors, the US importer, “It takes a lot of machine to win. You can’t get a winner at the bargain table.”
This specific Parilla Wildcat 125 was a barn find that was in excellent original condition. A couple of missing pieces (wheels/seat) were replaced, and it will need a little bit of work, especially regarding rust in the tank. But it’s in great shape, and the seller feels that the 483 miles on the odometer are true.
