Intorduced in 1956, the Moto Guzzi Lodola was Carlo Guzzi’s last design – unfortunately I can’t say I’m a big fan of the aesthetics. The bike started with a 175cc engine but by 1959 the “Gran Turismo” version was introduced with a 235cc engine that put out 11 horsepower, enough to get the Lodola up to 70 miles per hour. After Guzzi was sold in the mid 60s, new ownership considered this bike obsolete or unprofitable and ended production at 26,757 units.
This Lodola (VIN: IGV11750M) received a ‘complete nut and bolt restoration’ and it looks great. Imported from France, this bike has not yet been titled in the US. Find it for sale in Ojai, California with an unmet opening bid of $500 or a BIN of $6,200
