Introduced in 1967, the A1 Samurai was available as a sport bike or a ‘street scrambler’ – here’s one of the latter.
The 247cc engine put out 31 horsepower, making it one of the faster bikes in its class, and the bike was available in either candy red or candy blue. The street scrambler differed from the standard bike only in exhaust. This example has 15,542 miles and is claimed to run well. Flaws are limited to pitting on the back fender and pipes, a broken tachometer, and a rear tire that’s exhibiting minor checking. The sale includes a complete (but rough) parts bike, as well, making this quite a deal. Find this Samurai for sale here on Craigslist in Millinocket, Maine for $1,495.
