Post-Sale Update: After 15 bids on eBay, this BSA Cafe Racer sold for $4,402.
When a bike makes me giggle when I look at it, I know I have a winner. So despite the fact that this custom BSA cafe racer will need some work, I still think it’s worth sharing with all of you. BSA aficionados will note that the engine in this custom is not a British powerplant. In fact, it’s the absurd 1,085cc 4 cylinder NSU engine used in the Munch Mammoth, the biggest, baddest motorcycle available at the time. Finding a Mammoth now is difficult (and expensive), so the seller has taken the interesting tact of almost ignoring the bike itself and pushing the engine as a spare unit for the rare few that actually own Mammoths. I sincerely hope someone is able to keep the engine in this bike and bring it back to its former glory. Find this BSA cafe racer for sale in Saint Louis, Missouri with bidding up to $3,500
