Yamaha introduced the 350cc Grand Prix in 1967, and it was a significant model for the brand as it was their biggest offering (and their first 350cc production motorcycle ever). Featuring an oil-injected 36 horsepower two-stroke twin paired with a 5 speed transmission, the Grand Prix was much faster than the displacement suggested and it was the beginning of the legendary series of Yammie’s 350 bikes – the R5, RD, and RZ.
This example (VIN: R200738) has just over 9,000 miles but it looks almost new thanks to new paint/clearcoat and lots of re-chromed parts. It’s claimed to run and shift good and it features new tires, rims, spokes, and a recent carb rebuild. The sale includes the owners manual and parts manual.
