Here’s a beautiful Commando that’s been given some Dunstall love that’s claimed to be in amazing turnkey condition.
Paul Dunstall made a name for himself through his modification of Nortons in the early 50s and 60s. Over the years Dunstall officially became a manufacturer in the UK to allow for homologation of their race bikes, and over time he even dabble with Japanese motorcycles – but Dunstall will always be synonymous with Norton. This example (VIN: 20M3S137690) has a fresh top end that’s been bored .30 over, flowed intake manifolds, velocity stacks that feed Amal 932 carbs, Dunstall bodywork, Dunstall rear sets, Magura clipons, and a few new parts. The seller says it’s in perfect running condition though the odometer isn’t working. In the seller’s words, it looks like a show bike with the exception of some scratches on the frame.
